Kristen Rudger prides herself on listening carefully to her clients’ wishes, working with them to find the best creative solutions for how to use their space in a manner that is both functional, and beautiful. With nearly 20 years of experience in the industry, Kristen has built partnerships with skilled craftspeople who can implement our designs with the highest quality of service and integrity.

Kristen trained in Environmental Horticulture and Design at Foothill College and is a Certified member of the Association of Professional Landscape Design (APLD). She has been awarded with a Silver Award for residential design in 2022 and Silver award in Planting design in 2023 by  the APLD International Landscape Design Awards.

Design Process

We guide clients through every phase of the landscape design process, ensuring a comprehensive and seamless experience. From the initial inquiry and site analysis, to design and construction oversight, we work to ensure your vision comes to life.

  • We will come to your property for a complimentary half hour visit to determine the scope of work for the project, discuss design direction and follow up with a contract outlining our fees and deliverables.

  • Hire a qualified measuring service or use your existing site plan to create a CAD base map. Gather site specific information.

  • preliminary concept including plant palette, material samples and finish styling.

  • Revise and perfect the plans to meet your stated budget.

  • Hardscape specifications; Planting Plan; Elevations and Details

  • Coordinate the permit process and necessary documentation from other design professionals including structural and civil engineers if necessary.

  • Our team of personally selected contractors bring our design to reality.

  • We are with you every step of the way to ensure the design is installed to our exacting specifications.
