Rustic/Natural - Defined by a use of reclaimed and organic materials, wild and native plants, and a relaxed, peaceful feel.
Mediterranean -Uses low water plantings from Mediterranean climate regions, often reminiscent of Spanish, French and Italian landscapes. This style of garden combines relaxed materials with warm, earthy tones, punctuated by bright colorful plantings.
Modern/Contemporary - Crisp, clean lines with more hardscape elements than plantings. Plant palette is muted and limited, utilizing massing of single species punctuated by specimen architectural plants. Materials such as steel, concrete and gravel are often used to provide order and structure.
Transitional- A contemporary spin on a traditional style, transitional gardens incorporate the modern aesthetic of clean lines and orderly space with warm and lush plantings accented by organic materials.
Drought tolerant/Native -Utilizing only low water plantings with a heavy emphasis on local native plants. Swaths of low water groundcover accented with grasses and perennials to attract local birds and insects. Usually has a very relaxed natural look.
English garden-This is a very traditional style which includes clipped hedges and lush, colorful borders, and formal hardscape elements such as brick and stone. Typically, this style of garden is not low maintenance and is often preferred by a homeowner who enjoys gardening.
